But the real story behind The Hitchhiker? It started on the side of a Texas highway.
After finishing the final prototype, I drove to pick up some more leatherworking supplies. On the way home, my car broke down in the middle of nowhere. Instead of sitting frustrated, I decided to make the most of the wait. I grabbed the wallet and walked half a mile to a nearby Taco Casa gas station, snapping photos along the way. That’s when the name hit me: The Hitchhiker.
Because sometimes you don’t plan the best stories... they just happen when life goes off-route.
